English Language Literacy (ELL) Connect
Are you a university student and want to volunteer? Help support newcomers and other ESL learners! You work 1-on-1 with the program director to support the student.
Do you need extra English language speaking support? ELL is an activity/ mentorship program aimed at improving the literacy of newcomer, immigrant and refugee youth.

We pair you with a tutor who works 1-on-1 with you over 6-weeks to develop an individualized plan and meet with you regularly to help you improve your literacy.
StarGATE MENTORSHIP
A mentorship program with GATE Calgary where University students mentor Grade 5 - 12 (usually high school) students about post-secondary and life!
